Emergency Tarp and Leak Mitigation
Project Overview
Emergency after-hours tarp on a two-story home in Paterson after a tree limb punctured the roof during a windstorm. Active interior leaking when we arrived.
Analysis
A 4-foot limb had broken three shingles and fractured a sheet of decking, creating a 6-inch hole. Rain was actively entering the attic. No structural framing damage visible.
Process
Same-night response within 90 minutes of the call. Tarp secured inside of 2 hours. Returned 4 days later once insurance adjuster completed assessment, then performed permanent shingle and decking repair.
Outcome
Water intrusion stopped the same night. Homeowner insurance covered both emergency service and permanent repair. Interior damage contained to one ceiling section.
